My name is Sona Maku. Daughter of beloved father late Manna Maku. 

It was in the afternoon, I came back home from my son’s birthday celebration to only find out that my father left me forever. 

I waited for my dad to come out of the bathroom. The wait was longer than normal. I yelled his name. I didn’t get a response.  I went in to check on him. That’s when I found my dad unresponsive. I was terrified and torn into pieces. I screamed and cried. I wanted to wake him up. I wanted him to just be asleep so that he can wake up. I wanted it to just be a dream so that I can wake up to see my dad smiling by my side. Alas, He left me forever without saying goodbye. He left me and my siblings orphans. He was all we had. 

Our dad was fighting blood cancer and showed some progress. We thought he was improving. We never expected to end this way. God loved him like we do and called him home. 

In memory of my father Manna Maku, I am setting up this memorial fund to help with funeral and hospital bill expenses.
