Friends , families and the Nigerian community in Canada, we are creating this GoFundMe in deep sorrow and loving memory of the late Amna Ayomide Bennett, a bright, joyful 6-year-old girl who brought warmth and happiness to everyone around her. Amna, who was autistic, experienced the world in her own unique and beautiful way and was deeply cherished for her innocence, spirit, and light.
Her life was tragically cut short following a devastating fall from a 28th-floor apartment at 200 Chalkfarm Drive. This heartbreaking loss has left her family, friends, and community in profound grief. It is also a deep loss felt within the Nigerian community in Canada and beyond, as we mourn a precious life gone too soon.
We are raising funds to support Amna’s burial and memorial, and to help give her a dignified and loving farewell. Donations will go directly toward funeral arrangements, burial costs, memorial expenses and supports to the family during this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping Amna’s family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
May the late Amna Ayomide Bennett rest in eternal peace, and may her beautiful memory continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
We thank you sincerely for taking the time to read this and for standing with us during this painful moment. The love, support, and kindness shown to Amna’s family means more than words can express.
May we all continue to hold her memory close and honour the beautiful life she lived, however brief. May the Lord grant her eternal rest and give her loved ones strength, peace, and comfort in the days ahead.
With gratitude,
Adebisi .0, friends, family, and the Nigerian community in Canada,
