This fund is being created to honor the legacy and memory of Latanya Jenkins, former ARL diversity scholar and librarian at Temple University. Latanya was the librarian for Africology & African American Studies as well as Government Information Services Librarian at Temple. This travel scholarship will support travel/attendance scholarships for students and early-career librarians to attend the 2022 Joint Conference of Librarians of Color to be held in St. Pete Beach, FL in October of next year.
