LaTanya (Lee) Donaldson's Funeral Arrangem

I am raising money to help my niece, Jorvy and brother-in-law with the funeral arrangements for my sister-in-law, LaTanya.

On Monday, March 20th, the Donaldson family lost the third member of their family in the span of less than a decade, LaTanya. She was on her way home from attending her only surviving daughter's wedding that was on Sunday, March 19 in Mexico, when she passed away on the flight.

The Donaldson's have had significant medical expenses that were a result of two of their children's terminal illnesses, which undoubtedly impacted LaTanya's own health and further impacting the family's expenses.

LaTanya was so many things to so many people. A loving mother to her 3 children, a doctor who helped so many women, a dedicated wife, aunt, sister, and daughter as well as an Army veteran. She put her family, patients and her country ahead of her own needs. This selflessness and heartbreak ultimately caught up to her.

We are hoping to pull together as a community and family to provide support to LaTayna's husband and daughter to help cover funeral expenses including the arduous task of getting LaTanya back home to San Diego as well as lost income.

Services for LaTanya will be held on Friday, April 14 at 3pm at California Burial Chapel in National City, CA.
