It breaks our hearts that our beloved Mother has suffered a third and fatal stroke. Mrs. Lucy Abueva only wishes to find her way back to the Philippines to her family for a final service and her final resting place after she takes her last breath. She is currently resting peacefully in hospice care. The emotional pain is a lot to bear but is needed to ensure a peaceful passing of our Mother.
Our family’s next burden is the financial impossibility of getting her back to her homeland therefore, our family needs to graciously ask for donations. Your donations will directly help with the tremendous costs of a casket, body preparations, a service in Houston, legal documentations for the Philippine Consulate General, Lucy’s travel to Dumaguete by way of Manila, a service in Dumaguete, burial and all associated transportations.
Our research has found that total costs are expected to be approximately $19,000.00.
