Last Wish: Vegas Trip for My Deserving Wife

In December of 2021, my life changed forever. After being misdiagnosed and seeking a second opinion, I was diagnosed with stage IV Colorectal Cancer. At the time of my diagnosis, I had already purchased an all expense paid for trip to Las Vegas as a Christmas gift for my wife. She previously lived in Las Vegas and always talked about how much she wanted to go back. Because of my diagnosis and the need to start chemotherapy immediately, we were not able to take that trip to Vegas. We have tried to make plans to go in the years following but it proved to be very difficult, especially given the amount of money I spent on the first trip, none of which was refundable. I have been unable to return to work full time due to my health. With 4 kids and a grandchild we help support, being able to save enough money to make the trip happen has been impossible. Since I was first diagnosed, my wife has been by my side caring for me, and providing for our family. She has sacrificed a lot for me and our kids and my only remaining wish is that I can take her on the vacation I had planned for us 3 1/2 years ago while I am still able to.
