Titan Movies: Roller Shutters 4th Break In :(

It’s a dream to own a small business, it’s awesome to be your own boss but sometimes people have to spoil it for you. :( 

Two guys in their mid 20’s brought the last video store in the northern suburbs of Perth back in March 2019. It was all smooth sailing until the end of August when we were broken into for the 1st time. A big glass panel was smashed using a water drain grill from the common area of the complex. Our remotes for the PlayStation 4, the VR headset for the PlayStation were taken along with other goods. The lock on Safe was damaged beyond repair. 

A week later, we were broken into again, smashing our front door. This time the person attempted to take our Safe which was bolted into the counter but failing to get into the safe they stole the physical PlayStation 4 Console along with the new remotes we has just replaced on insurance. Forcing us to make another claim on insurance. 

4 Weeks after the second break-in, we were hit for a 3rd time.  Destroying the glass on the door yet again. The theft completely tipped our counter over causing a mass amount of damage all so he could jump on our safe until finally he road off on his bike with said safe. (Which was empty)

Today 8/12/19 number 4... broken into again - three thugs forced their way into our store stealing a Television, damaging another TV beyond repair & stealing a Arcade Table Top that we have only briefly had in the store that isn't owned by us. 



We've put sweat and tears into making the last video store north  of the river into a family friendly environment for everyone to enjoy, the feed back that we have had with the big changes we have made is amazing but this is simply is taking a huge tole on both of us. We want to stay around, we really do.

This brings us to the campaign. We've had lengthy conversations with our Real Estate Agent & Landlord. We were lead to believe that the owner of this building would install roller-shutters. Unfortunately after weeks of waiting for him to get back from his holiday we were told he would only contribute a very small part... $2,000 towards the roller-shutters. We're a new small business, we're putting so much time and effort into keeping the store alive. At this point we truly need the support of our community so that we can put a stop to this once & for all.

This is effecting us as a business, these constant break-in's are taking a toll mentally on all of us.

So this is where we are at... we never wanted to have to ask but we don't see any other options. If you can help us by sparing any dollars, you would be helping us out beyond belief.  

All money raised will go towards having roller shutters installed & replacing items that have been stolen from us.
