Last Push to Open!

Hello,

We are Laura and Nathan, Milwaukee natives and owners of Hot Dish Pantry!

We are near the end of the renovation of our new location at 4125 S Howell Ave and are very close to opening. Unfortunately, we have hit an unpredictable roadblock. We are not able to provide complete details at this time, but the short version is that a massive error on the part of our accountants has resulted in a substantial loss of financing we had initially secured. We only found out about these errors recently which came as a huge shock this close to the finish line. This is devastating news and we refuse to let it stand in the way of our joy of reopening!

We are so excited to open and share our new menu and bar program with all of you and are asking for your help to make it happen. Please consider a gift, however small it may be, to help us push forward. All funds will be used as we had initially planned to use the SBA funding we had secured and to deal with the mess our accountants have created. Ultimately, that means getting our comfort food into your Midwestern bellies faster!

We plan to open soon, in a much more limited way than we were initially intending, as we deal with the repercussions of the situation. We intended to use any funds raised, in part, to pay people who have been so supportive in helping us get ready to open. The fact that we are leaving them hanging is weighing heavily on us. We believe in helping the community and are hoping our community is willing and able to help us through this.
