One Last Month to Stay Afloat
I don’t like asking for help—especially not twice in one year—but this winter in Alaska hit me hard.
I’ve been pushing to find steady work, but military injuries have made physical jobs difficult, and a few opportunities didn’t work out. My savings are now gone.
I recently had an interview for a position in prisoner reentry services—work that actually matters to me. Helping people rebuild their lives after incarceration is something I care deeply about and this opportunity could be a real turning point for my future.
I’m close—but I’m about to lose my housing before I can get there. I was able to stay afloat for the winter, and now that summer jobs are hiring in Alaska, I have a lot of other opportunities starting to roll in.
I’m asking for help to cover one month of rent—just enough time to get through these interviews and stabilize my income and transition into a permanent or summer position.
If you can help in any way, or even just share this, it would mean everything.
Thank you.
