Last Hope for Boo

Hi, I'm Boo!

Eight years ago, my dads rescued me and my brother Albert from a neglected puppy farm and they loved us ever since.
They are heartbroken because I'm not doing too well...
I have been diagnosed with a chronic ruptured disc that's pushing onto my spine.
My dads found me in a pool of my own pee the other day and I have been at the vet ever since.
The disc causes me excruciating pain and my brain sends the wrong signals to my legs which means, I can't walk. I may never be able to walk again :-(
I have had an unsuccessful operation in the past. They were hoping to remove the disc but it would have been too risky.
I now had a second operation to relieve the pain and pressure on my spine but I have been diagnosed to never walk again. I haven't seen my dads for four days and I don't like drinking or eating without them so I don't. They are not allowed to come see me because of the coronavirus but he begged and begged the vet and they finally agreed to let him come to visit. They brought me my favourite food - chicken with tomato sauce - and that was so delicious. I ate and drank a lot which made my dads very happy. I still can't go to the toilet so they put a catheter and are keeping me under observation. Every night I spend at the vet costs my dads another $600 to $800 on top of the $6,000 they have already spent on my operation. I will have ongoing medical bills to ease my pain and suffering and need to be carried where ever I want to go. I'm fairly certain I need a set of wheels to get around.

I just want to be with my dads and my brother Albert. Could you spare a few dollar to help me get home?

UPDATE: Woohooo, I'm home! Finally the vet let me go home a couple of days ago after being away from home for 6 nights.
I still can't walk and the stitches look nasty. They used metal staples. It ain't pretty and it hurts!
I haven't been able to poop and my dads took me back to the vet yesterday. I can't believe it! The good news is I'm able to pee again which is why they let me go home. But I got a back log and they gave me a hand there and also some laxatives - so gross!!
My dads are looking into buying me a wheelchair. And home modifications too. I will need ramps so I can get up and down the stairs with the wheelchair. I bet I'll be faster than Albert with it :-)

We're overwhelmed with your generosity and your donations help so much, thank you!!
