Last Cheers to the Life of Paul “Bud” Whitehouse

If you’re reading this you must be just as sad, shocked, and surprised as we were to hear about the untimely passing of our friend Bud on July 31st, 2021. As close family friends, this is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to write. The recent event is difficult for most to comprehend and devastating for his family. His passing was only 4 days shy of his 49th wedding anniversary to the love of his life- Anita.

I know we can all agree he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, competitor, coworker, and patriot of our country. Life isn’t always fair, and the worst of things happen to the best of us.

Bud was the kind of guy you knew all your life- even if you’d just met him. Bud was a gentleman, he was kind, he was easy to talk to, and always rooted for others. He’d give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back if you were in need. Bud grew up in Ohio, lived in California, and most recently resided in Meridian, Idaho. He lived for his family, made time for his friends, and had many passions including pool, poker, golf and all of the many people he met along the way. Through all those times and places, he made a positive impact on everyone he ever met or came across.

As you might expect, there are expenses for the family that were completely unanticipated. Over the last decade Bud’s heart wasn’t the best, and ultimately the reason this sentiment is being written.

For those of you that would like to help make this transition a little easier for Anita and the family, you can contribute towards his final expenses here. Bud never asked for anything, or from anyone. We hope his same generosity can be shared with his family.

You lived a life most would envy Bud. Truly a great game played, and we all will see you again someday…
