Last Chance Animal Rescue in Spain is in CRISIS

Donation protected
Last Chance Animal Rescue in Spain is in CRISIS. Our resources are severely depleted and we are now at risk of having to close our doors. Set up in 2012 by Jacqui Ross, an English woman who moved to Spain and felt she had to do something to help the abandoned, abused and neglected street dogs and cats in Malaga. We rely solely on public donations, we receive no government funding,

The past few years as a result of COVID lock down and Brexit and the general cost of living crisis we have experienced severe shrinking donations from our regular supporters. We have to reach out now, more than ever for help, Your donations will be used to buy food and vet care for the dogs and cats, so that hopefully they can be adopted out and leave space for a lineup of other animals needing shelter and care. Having to be stressed about whether the next week’s food bill can be paid is putting the team under so much stress as people are abandoning animals more often than ever. As a result, shelters are at capacity, turning away animals

This shelter is home to many sweet, loving animals who are looking for a forever home. However, while the animals are in the shelter, we want them to have the most comfortable experience possible. The rescue has been running for 11 years but has unfortunately reached a point where it cannot afford to continue saving these animals and keep the shelter running. At this time, the shelter is feeding and caring for at least one hundred dogs and cats , in the shelter, in foster homes and some are sanctuary animals that due to health or behaviour issues may never find a home.
Last Chance Animal Rescue center may be the last hope for many of these dogs and cats. Any donation would help our organization, the animals, and the amazing people who volunteer. Every euro counts! Thank you for any support you can provide, if you are unable to provide a monetary donation but would still like to help, please share this with family and friends. Just the cost of a cup of coffee can make a huge difference. When you donate, you're donating love, life and hope to all of the animals that come through our doors. Thank you
