On the 22nd May 2025 my heart broke. My amazing grandad died after a short sudden illness. This was a shock to us all and still doesn’t feel real.

Stephen McNally also known as Mac. He lived his life in Dagenham and lived that life to his fullest. Wild I would describe it as!

We created this GoFundMe to honor his memory and to inform others of his passing alongside taking away any financial burden of his loved ones and particularly his partner (my nan) to focus on grieving without the added stress of funeral expenses. Our goal is to give Mac the send of he deserves, a celebration of his life that honours the joy and love he brought to everyone around him.

If you knew him personally this will be his last ever 'pot' that he will be holding out (lol), so any contribution no matter how small, will make a significate difference and will be deeply appreciated.

We will be holding his last celebration on Wednesday 25th June 2025, if you would like to join us to raise one last glass for him, this be being held at The Huntsman & Hounds, Ockendon Road, Upminster RM14 2DN. From 12:30pm. Please wear what you like as this will not be a black funeral.
