Last Issue of 2019-2020 GBHS Newspaper (Senior Ed)

The Gazette/Granite Bay Today is an award winning school student newspaper organization for Granite Bay High School. Our student journalists produce all our newspaper and website work. This current school year was cut short due to the unfortunate news of COVID-19. Our team had a trip planned for NYC in March to attend the CSPA annual journalism convention which had also got cancelled due to COVID-19. With all the money spent and the crisis going on, we were unable to get full refunds from each place which required us to use a lot of money from our own account to pay back our staffers. Despite this, our staff has continued to try our best to produce as much coverage as we can on our Granite Bay Today website given all the chaos going on. Along with the school year being closed and other cancellations, many of our seniors were affected by losing a few great months of their high school years. Nevertheless, our team would love to be able to still put out our last issue for the school year which will also be the senior edition, where we will be able to look back on our greatest moments of this last year and make sure our seniors can keep this as a memorable token. In order to do so, we are asking for any donation you can provide as we want to be able to mass produce this for as many students as we can! We thank each and every one of you for all the support and love during these unprecedented times. Any extra funding will go to scholastic journalism organization dues.
