Lassandra Padua a beautiful soul lost too soon

Donation protected

On Friday May 7th 2021 we unexpectedly  and tragically lost a beautiful soul who impacted and made a difference in the lives of everyone she met. She was found in her home and in her hometown of Greenfield Ma. She was so young, she just had turned 21 years old on February 7th . She is survived by her grandmother Terry who was like a mother too her all her life , her older brother Benji (22) her younger brother Adrian (9) her niece Sophie who was like her little sister (15) her Titi Mariah who unfortunately was the one who found her passed away in her home, and of course her Mother and father Sarah Mclaughin and Benjamin Padua . She also is survived by many many friends that loved her as their own, as family.

Lassandra was the most creative , intelligent, outspoken, compassionate, and talented woman. With the biggest warmest smile she always had the power to make those around her laugh or smile. She loved to draw , paint ,sketch and anything else art related. She had a deep connection with nature and loved being near the water, the trees and just being outside in the sunshine. She was a gifted writer in her ability to create words and poems as she is a very deep thinker and had a lot of meaningful thoughts to share;whether it was with others or for herself. She was always unapologetically herself, always spoke her mind and how she was feeling.  Some of her other many talents were playing guitar , dancing to any type of music, and long boarding.  She worked so hard, and got to work by herself everyday, She had her own apartment and paid all her bills with her family friend/roommate. She was so motivated, reliable and determined to save as much money as she could to take care of her siblings and family and build a great future for herself and the ones she cares for . One of her many dreams/goals was too be an art therapist too help children struggling with mental illness as she could relate through her own struggles. She also wanted to travel the world and meet new people and have amazing and positive experiences. She always had this drive and passion to make the world a better place. The love she carried in her body was more than most have, she always cared for others and others feelings.

Her family and friends want to throw her the best celebration of life. She wanted to be cremated and planted in a tree to grow.  She would also want everyone attending to celebrate her life, she wouldn't want us to wear black and be sad. She would want us to wear our most vibrant colorful clothes and laugh in honor of her vibrant spirit. We want to fulfill these wishes for her. The funds will all be handled by her grandmother Terry, and any donation given is going towards Lassandras final wishes, her services, and her family.  In these hard times we can use as much support as we can get as we do need to cover expenses for transferring her body, her cremation , urns ,the service and the staff that will be there helping. Any donations help and every cent would be deeply appreciated by her grieving family and friends, as this is a very devastating and tragic loss for the many people who love her. The service will be held sometime in the next week or so, and the date will be posted online for friends and family who want to pay their respects.

Thank you all so much, and god bless.
