LASOAR, the Louisiana Association of Sports, Outdoor Adventure, and Recreation, is a Nonprofit Organization based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Our mission is to promote the growth of young minds, bodies, and spirits through neighborhood sports leagues, outdoor adventure excursions, and recreational activities.
LASOAR encourages families to get out, get active, and learn something new!
We need your help in order to accomplish our mission. Please donate! All donations will be used to purchase equipment and supplies for LASOAR Programs. Please see our "Wish List" for a more details.
If you would like to donate gently used sports equipment to LASOAR, please email Laura at [email redacted] and she will arrange a pick up!
Neighborhood Sports Leagues:
LASOAR Neighborhood Sports Leagues offers a safe place for your child to build an expansive locomotor skill set and acquire core values to help improve self-confidence and attitude. We provide a wide variety of year-round youth sports programs held at multiple Host Locations in Lafayette and surrounding areas.
Hosting sports in many locations strengthens our communities and makes participation easy and convenient for families.
Our first established host site is the Grace Presbyterian green space on Roselawn. In blessing their community, Grace Presbyterian has offered to match all funds raised by March 25th up to $2,500.

T-Ball (Ages 4-6) April 24-May 29
Play and Explore P.E (3-6) June 19-July 24
Kickball (7-12) June 19-July 24
Ultimate Frisbee (7-12) June 19-July 24
Soccer (3-6) August 21 - September 25
Flag Football (5-12) October 16 - November 20
Outdoor Adventure Excursions and Recreational Activities:
LASOAR organizes outdoor adventure trips and recreational activities for groups of all ages. The Outdoor Adventure Kids (OAK) program offers 8 months of activities where children can learn important outdoor skills while gaining respect for their environment. We utilize local professionals as LASOAR Adventure Guides who share their expertise by leading and instructing participants during all OAK activities and promote environmental stewardship.

Canoeing Louisiana Waterways
Group Overnight Camping Trips
