It is with a very heavy heart that I must express the untimely passing of our very BEST friend Lashon Harris. On this very day of January 10, 2021,  I am still in disbelief that  our “La-La” has gained his wings.  Anyone that has had the pleasure of knowing Lashon, knows that his larger than life personality, humor and selfless love for all would always put a smile on your face. Lashon has spent every day of his 49 years of life being a true and loving friend, father, son, husband, uncle and cousin. Words cannot describe the pain we are all feeling now as he is no longer here with us in the flesh. However, 2 Corinthians 5:8 says “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”  As we no God makes no mistakes and he has called his son, our beloved Lashon to be home with the Lord.

Lashon leaves behind many broken hearts, but more importantly he leaves behind his cherished mother Ms. Linda,  brother Raheem, beloved son Noah  and loving fiancé Mike. They were his world and he was theirs too. His presence truly touched the lives of thousands of people. Lashon’s testimony in life was to live your life with love, prayer, laughter, good food and cherished memories.

Lashon always talked about providing his son Noah, with the best life a child could ever imagine. He also worked very hard to make sure his family would never go without. Therefore, this GoFundMe is created to help ensure our beloved Lashon is provided with a beautiful homegoing service and financial security so his immediate family.  

As this has been a difficult time for all, we want to place our hearts and minds on providing Lashon’s family with this token of love and raise as much money as possible.  Donations will go directly to the Harris/Riley immediate family to help with end of life costs and future expenses for his son Noah. Lashon gave so much to others and now we want to be the helping hand that gives back to him.
