Family and friends a tragedy has left us with broken hearts and unresolved grief. My name is Latanya Bryant and I am the older cousin of Lashelle Hewlett who life was unfortunately taken at the age of 18 years old. Lashelle Hewlett was shot in the heart and died at the hospital on 2/6/2024. My cousin who was a senior at Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet was on the rode to success with less than 3 months to graduation. My cousin was a strong leader and stood for family and friends if she loved you. She leaves here with her mother who name is Michelle Diggs who is also my aunt. With planning funeral arrangements that were supposed to be a senior celebrations we ask family and friends to support my aunt Michelle Diggs with some of the funeral arrangement. Anything will help to bury a 18 year old who didn’t get to experience life.
