On June 25, 2023 my family got the worst news ever. My little cousin La’Senia who’s 13 years old and her father were hit off a motorcycle after her father picked her up from a cousins house. The person driving the car abandoned their car after running off the road. My cousin and her father were left for dead on the dark road. Someone passing by called 911 for help. Her mother knew nothing until the EMT answered her dads phone seeing that her mother was calling. Her and her father were transported to a trauma hospital. When her mother arrived no one had updated her the entire time she was there. When we finally did receive an update we found out that La’Senia was intubated and has a brain bleed. She was air lifted to hospital that has a pediatric ICU with a subdural hematoma. She is currently still intubated and trying to fight through it. I’m currently raising money to help her mother with expenses that are going to start due to her mother needing to take off work. Her mother is her primary caretaker.
