Say thank you to those frontline workers who are taking care of the Las Vegas community during COVID-19!
We are raising money to purchase individually packaged meals for our frontline, essential workers, focusing on medical facilities (ERs, hospitals, urgent cares) as well as law enforcement and other first responders. My team and I have been doing this for about a week and a half, but we hope to raise funds to be able to continue and hopefully amplify our efforts at this trying time. As of the beginning of this Go Fund Me campaign, we have delivered or have committed to delivering more than 1,500 meals. We would like to do more.
100% of the funds will be used to purchase ready to eat, individually packaged meals from local Las Vegas restaurants or caterers. This effort will continue as long as social distancing directives remain in place. If the need declines prior to spending all funds in the account or it become infeasible to continue with these efforts, the remaining funds will be donated to local charities that combat food insecurity in Las Vegas. Until then, help us continue to purchase meals and deliver them to our hard-working frontline folks. It really makes a difference to them to know how much the community is thinking about them during this unprecedented pandemic.
