Rebecca's Family
Donation protected
This campaign is to help support our friends, Scott LaRue and Marlgorzata Mamot (Gosia) as their daughter Rebecca, age 13 suddenly became ill, had been admitted to Children's Hospital in Denver 3 times over the past month and a half and tragically lost her life in the hospital yesterday afternoon to this medical illness.
Funds from this campaign will go directly to an account for Scott and Gosia. The funds will be needed to pay for a funeral and memorial that was not prepared for as this was an unforeseen tragedy. An average funeral runs at least $15,000 alone.
Other financial burdens are present as time off work has already been used over the past 6 weeks and now they will be taking more time to mourn this unexpected loss of their daughter. I can not imagine this but as a parent of a child this age, I would think this is the most painful hurt to endure.
If you didn't know Rebecca she was known for her fabulous smile that she frequently wore. Her zeal for life was abundant as she was always trying new things new things like joining a ski team, learning to sail, participating on the forensics team, running cross-country at Vanguard or befriending the new kids in school. She was devoted to learning and was always reading or listening to an audible book. She had a generous heart and was frequently guilty of buying the kids in her neighborhood ice cream!
Any assistance will truly be helpful . Let's help them by taking off their financial stress of this horrific loss so that they can focus on their family, mourning, and trying to get back on their two feet again .
