LaRue Dwayne Ward

LaRue Ward was born on August 27th, 1986. He passed away unexpectedly on December 21st, 2023. He was 37. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and was always intrigued by planes and travel. He started working for Delta Air Lines in March of 2008, and thrived. He had an exceptional work ethic and was beloved by his Delta family in Milwaukee, St Louis, Memphis and Nashville. When Rue was not dominating the workplace, he dedicated all of his time to his daughter Samyah. JoJo was the center of his universe, and he never missed a dance recital, school project or birthday party. 15 months ago, he welcomed a second daughter Blair, who is a mirror image of her father. LaRue was the epitome of strength, resilience and love. To know him was to love him.. clearly evidenced by the countless friends and family who are completely devastated by this loss. There is hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

We are humbly asking for donations to help the family with the immediate expenses related to laying Rue to rest. We need to show up and show out for the man who always showed up for everyone else.
