Larry's Stroke Fund

My husband Larry Theriot had a major stroke from a blood clot to his left side of his brain. Larry has always been an active person, from welding and commercial fishing to hunting and camping. Always the outdoorsman. Until this last week when he unknowingly started experiencing stroke symptoms. Saturday morning June 24, 2017. He was rushed to our local hospital. And now after 3 separate hospitals and 8 gruelling days, he is finally on the road to recovery in Neuro ICU @ Ochsner in New Orleans, however, this nightmare of a journey is just beginning. I am struggling to pay necessary bills to keep our house going, as well as expenses to get me to and from Ochsner to be by my husbands side. The stress of my husbands stroke is overwhelming enough without the additional stress of bills and other expenses that i am unable to cover, overloading my mind. Although, I have begun the ball rolling on his disability, it could be months before I will have the funds necessary to cover any day to day expenses such as gas, food, house bills etc. Every little bit helps and not knowing just how long my husband will be at Ochners in NOLA, which is a good hour and a half away from my residence, only adds to the anxiety I already have worrying about my husband of 10 years.
