Larry's Emergency Liver Transplant

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Dawn Eaddy, and I am fundraising for my husband, Larry Eaddy Jr. who served our country in the U.S. Army.
He is a 16-plus-year liver transplant recipient due to autoimmunity disease where his immune system attacked his liver. For almost a year now, Mr. Eaddy has been in and out of the hospital extremely sick and was told that his 16-plus-year liver was at its ending stages and he needed another transplant immediately. After weeks of testing, he was finally approved to go on the National Transplant list on Friday, July 1st. Within a few hours on the list, I received the most fantastic phone call from the Liver TEAM that Mr. Eaddy has a liver! TEARS OF JOY!
I have to brag on how wonderful God is! We are truly grateful!
And a special Prayer for the family on the given end!

We are raising funds because of the additional expenses needed to care for Mr. Eaddy after his transplant. MUSC doesn't have a transplant house. Therefore, we must calculate the amount listed for his living expenses to stay close to the hospital for at least three weeks post-surgery. Once he is released from staying close by, he will undergo many appointments that will require us to travel 3 hours in both directions, in some cases on a weekly bases. To make Mr. Eaddy comfortable, we will need to stay overnight for the first few months.
If you are familiar with the Charleston area, you understand how difficult it is to find a temporary stay at a reasonable price. Lastly, taking into consideration emergency reservations.
This fundraiser will also allow for additional non-medical items such as cleaning supplies, food and gas for travel while Mr. Eaddy is healing.

As a caring wife, loving mother, a part-time business owner, and even an individual who wears many hats, this means a great deal to get the monetary support we need to care for Mr. Eaddy.
Please, understand that without a shadow of a doubt, if Mr. Eaddy could speak and understand, he would express his gratitude because I know he is just as grateful as I am and our whole family.

Would you consider supporting?
May God Bless you all 100-fold for your generous giving.
