Larry’s chemo treatments and expenses

Hi, my name is Lori. I have never used go fund me before but my mother and step-dad desperately need help. Larry Ard, my dad recently discovered he had stage IV cancer that has metastasized to multiple areas. He finally was able to start chemo and radiation while in the hospital after many months of getting told he only had a pulled muscle in his back. There is no co-pay for Medicare if hospitalized, however, for outpatient treatments at the cancer center he must pay $2500 up front for each set of chemo treatments before they will even start them. My parents are on a fixed income and just don’t have the extra money without taking out loans to pay for this. This has been so devastating for them without the extra burden of wondering how they will pay for the treatments to keep him alive and the added financial burden. Without the treatment the oncologist said he would have just weeks but we are praying he will have much longer with momma, family and friends. Anything you can spare would be a blessing and lift a heavy burden from my sweet mommas shoulders. This has been so hard for her trying to stay strong for Larry. Thank you so much.
