Funding for Larry Major
My husband, Larry Major, was a grammar school at St. Gall and St. Bernardine in the Chicago area. He also was a banker at Amalgamated Bank of Chicago.
9 years ago, he suffered a debilitating stroke which left him unable to work. 10 days ago, he fell and broke his ankle. Wednesday, the rehab center is discharging him because he is non-weight bearing and cannot progress in physical therapy. He needs to go to an assisted living facility for 30 days so the bone can mend. This is not covered by insurance and his illness has devistated us financially.
We are hoping that some of his former students and co-workers might see this post and make a contribution. He influenced so many people in his life and now he needs your help.
If I cannot raise this money by Wednesday, he will have no where to go on Thursday, June 1st. Please pass the word to anyone who "Mr. Major" taught or who Larry worked with.
God bless you for helping us.
