In December, Larry was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer. The treatments are not only very challenging, they are also very costly. In addition to chemo and radiation, there have been several hospital stays and surgery. As many know, insurance certainly does not cover all of the bills. In addition, there are some trials in others parts of the country that might be beneficial. This would require funds to be able to consider travelling to avail ourselves to them. Any and every penny would be so greatly appreciated and go toward supporting Larry's care and recovery.
Those who know Larry know he is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He is always smiling and has a good word or subtle joke for everyone-- even during these grueling treatments. When he goes to his radiation treatments, he announces himself as he enters by saying, "I have arrived." The ladies at the desk are always so happy to see him! They love his positive attitude.
Through all of this, Larry continues one of his passions in the world-- he continues to distribute care packages to the homeless every day he is physically able to, in the inner city. He feels blessed to do this small act of kindness.
If you are able to help support him on this journey of healing, he would be so very grateful and you will surely be blessed as well. We know that what we give is always what we receive. Thanks so very much.
