As most or all of you know by now, Larry is end stage renal failure and is on the kidney transplant list. We have a friend who is willing and has been approved as a donor but isn't a direct match for him.  What this means is when she donates to another person in need, someone else who is a match for Larry will donate a kidney to him.  Right now it appears that this will take place before the end of the year.  Insurance will cover the bulk of the extensive medical expenses but won't cover things like parking, gas, food at the clinic for whoever is with him, etc.  It also won't cover things to help occupy his mind and keep him happy and comfortable when he is in the hospital and at home recovering.  Anything beyond what we need will be shared with our friend to cover any of her uncovered expenses as we've mentioned above.  Thanks in advance for your consideration.  I know you've all played a huge part in our lives and it takes a village to make big things happen... we need our village.   Lots of love, hugs and prayers too!     Heidi
