Larry Rawlings Memorial Fund
Donation protected
With a heavy heart, my family and I are starting this fundraiser in response to the heartbreaking loss of my step father, Larry Franklin Rawlings. He fought a year-long brave and courageous battle against cancer, all the while keeping and putting my mothers needs and well-being before his own. He was a wonderful, caring and kindhearted man, best friend and “partner in crime” to his brother Dana, a devoted husband to my mother Lora, and a loving father to Steve, Karen, Seth, Tanner, and me. He never hesitated to step up, and be be exactly what Tanner and I needed when we needed it. We were all “his kids” and loved us all the same.
His main concern the last few months of his life was that my mother was taken care of, due to all the time she missed work to be with him and take care him. He did not have much to leave her, and as a teacher times are hard enough as it is. We are setting this up to help honor his wishes and help my mom through these very uncertain times. Any donation at all to honor his memory and wishes will be greatly appreciated. Everyone’s love and support during this extremely sad and difficult time of loss has meant so much to me and my family. From the bottom of our hearts, we want you to know how comforting and helpful it has been for us. Thank you all so much, and God Bless.
