Larry Patrick Lees, Jr. age 42 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully at home March 6, 2022 surrounded by his family. He also previously resided in New York and Philadelphia over the last twenty years after graduating from Ithaca College. Larry worked for Music Theatre International in New York, where his passion for music and musical theatre were nourished. He was a Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator & Lyricist resulting in several original musicals created in collaboration with his closest friend and Ithaca College roommate, Brian Silliman. He enjoyed acting and performed in many musical theatre productions in Philadelphia where he previously resided. He arranged and conducted for “The Summer Club”, an original cabaret night club show featuring a 17-piece band, where the sound of a big band fired him up.

In Larry's memory his Ithaca College family would like to establish a scholarship to be awarded to a musical theatre, theatre or music major whose outstanding talent and academic ability demonstrate potential for achievement in the performing arts. Established in memory of Larry Lees, Class of 2001, by friends, faculty, alumni, and family.
