Hello! This is my brother-in-law, Larry Hardesty…known as “JR” to almost everyone. A few months ago, JR started feeling worn down and sick. He was having trouble breathing. After months of doctors’ appointments, JR was told that he was suffering from chemical pneumonitis of the lungs, basically destroying one of his lungs. After still experiencing medical issues, JR had to have immediate surgery to install a trach and a feeding tube. Test results came back, after his surgery, and JR was diagnosed with throat cancer. Kristen Hardesty, his wife of thirty years, has to stop working over the next few months to be JR’s 24/7 caregiver. With neither one of them able to work for the foreseeable future, they need help. The need help with living expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, etc.). On top of that, they are looking at major medical expenses including treatments, equipment needed for his trach, as well as expenses for his feeding tubes. On top of that, they will have to travel out of town to receive his treatments, which will require travel expenses such as lodging, food, fuel, etc.

This couple has already been through so much and should focus on JR getting better and not have to worry or be overwhelmed with how they are going to pay to survive. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated by everyone. Thank you in advance for your love and generosity.
