Thank you everybody who donated for this worthy cause. I am Kathleen Bradley Redd a friend of the Jenkins family for over 40 years. I was asked on behalf of Jean Jenkins the widow of Larry Flash to begin this GoFundMe page to help finance Larry's funeral services in hopes that he would get a proper burial and repast to celebrate his life. The funeral was a great success thanks to all of your contributors. Unfortunately GoFundMe does not release or disburse these funds until 3 to 5 business days after the withdrawal request. Praise be to God My husband and I were financially able to front the money to Jean prior to the withdraw and it all worked out accordingly. Now that everything is over and paid for I will be depositing the funds into my personal account as a means of paying back the money fronted to Jean for the funeral services.

To everyone who may not yet have heard the unfortunate & sad news, our dear friend, brother and thespian Larry “Flash” Jenkins died following a massive heart attack on Thursday, April 25.
Larry was an actor, director & producer, known for Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986),
Fletch (1985) and soon to be released The Gospel Truth (2019). Probably best know for his role in the popular TV series The White Shadow. And so much more!
He meant so much to so many and positively touched so many lives. Larry was a practical joker, the comedian and loved playing bid-whist and dominoes. We will miss that big Cheshire cat grin that was so infectious.
As you are all aware, Jean was Larry’s wife, partner and best friend. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock. Understandably Jean is struggling to cope, so I am stepping in to help the family with organizing Larry’s Funeral and Re-pass.
We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
