Larry Flair & Sharon Curtis-Flair Hurricane Fund

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Pat and I'm just one of the thousands of people who have been helped at one time or another by Larry Flair and his wife Sharon Curtis-Flair. Both of these folks who I am blessed to call friends have spent their whole lives in service to others and now they need our help.

Larry and Sharon retired and were living a quiet life in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Yep, Ft. Myers. Ground zero of Hurricane Ian. They were traveling when the storm hit but are now back in Florida and have reported that their house is a total loss. They had almost six feet of storm surge water in the house so their cars, their boat, their household furnishings and the house itself is a total loss. They were well insured, but because of the location and the type of houses in their area, there is a shallow cap on the amount of insurance that will come to them. They estimate their loss at approaching 1/2 million dollars for the house alone at pre-storm fair market value. Then, of course, they have the loss of contents, automobiles, etc.

This is a life-changing disaster for all the folks in the storm's path, but this is about our friends Larry and Sharon. They need help.

A little about them, if you are unfamiliar with their life story.

Larry spent 40 years in law enforcement. He was a Metro Nashville police officer for 32 years. He was a homicide investigator and handled over 500 murder investigations. He later served as an undercover narcotics agent putting his life on the line fighting the spread of narcotics in middle Tennessee. He's the real deal. Imagine any TV cop you've seen rolled into one living breathing real-life example of the best law enforcement officer imaginable. That's Larry Flair.

Sharon had an impact on serving the community through another route. She spent her life in journalism working for newspapers, and a local TV station as a beat reporter, and later as the Information Officer for the State of Tennessee Attorney General's office. She dedicated her life to reporting the news fairly and accurately which is at the heart of American democracy.

If you know Larry and Sharon, open up your heart and lend them a hand. If you don't know them but feel like you want to help someone directly impacted in a devastating way by the savage storm Hurricane Ian, you will not find anyone more affected by this brutal storm nor more deserving. They have lost everything other than what was packed in their two suitcases while traveling.

Thanks for considering a gift of any size large or small. This GoFundMe account will deliver approximately 97% of all donated funds directly into Larry and Sharon's bank account. I'm just the messenger here and I have no direct access to any of the funds collected. I will be the first to donate; you can count on it. They will use the money to start rebuilding their lives.
They didn't ask for this and they were reluctant to agree, but I insisted by telling them how many folks, including total strangers, are willing to step-up and lend a hand in a situation such as this.

God bless you for considering a donation and God bless Larry and Sharon, and our great country.
