We are first and foremost requesting prayers for our brother in Christ and friend, Larry, for healing, a speedy recovery and strength as he faces surgery to remove a tumor in his esophagus. Larry Chavarria and his wife Irma have endured an incredibly hard year and now face their biggest challenge medically.
Last year in March, Irma was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent three surgeries in Phoenix. After being put on an oral chemo pill she has been declared cancer free. Later, in November Larry caught the dreaded Covid19. Because of her low immune system, Irma caught it too – hard, and in January of this year Larry was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. Larry has been receiving treatment here in Las Cruces as well as traveling to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Phoenix. Receiving chemo and radiation treatments simultaneously has weakened our brother considerably. In June, he will travel once again to Phoenix for major surgery (esophagectomy), where he will need to stay for a minimum of two weeks. We are believing for a miracle but ask that you keep him in your prayers. We are also asking, to prayerfully consider assisting with the associated medical expenses in any amount.
We thank you in advance for your prayers, well wishes and any contribution you can make. We will pray in advance for your own health and financial blessings.
