My precious parents have experienced so much heartache the last several months as their home continues to be invaded by flood waters. Eleven weeks ago, their house flooded. I tried to imagine it. They described it much like I envision scenes of the Titanic where water just rushed into all doors and crevices.

All the clean-up. All the trash. All the priceless photos ruined. All the mud. All the water. All the debris. Cars totaled. Thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars spent out of pocket.

This week was a repeat, except it was worse. Much worse. The water rose much higher this time. The mud. The debris. The damage. It returned, except it came back worse. This repair will be much more extensive than the first.

If you would like to donate to their home restoration, I know they would greatly appreciate it. My brother and I appreciate it, as well. We know who holds us in the palm of His hand. Our Heavenly Father has always been faithful, and He always will be.
