Larry Adebanjo is a father of five: Folashade (Age 26), Pappy (Age 24), Omomayowa (Age 22), Abiola (Age 19), and Sarah (Age 11).
Six months ago, Larry found himself in the hospital ER b/c of complications from his past cancer. He was experiencing, on-going migraines, difficulty breathing, and no longer was capable of eating / drinking due to an inflamed trachea. After two weeks in the hospital, he finally had a feeding tube inserted into his stomach to finally gain nutrients.
He was to be discharged from the hospital October 7th. Yet, hours before he was to leave, his feeding tube malfunctioned. Larry stopped breathing, went into cardiac arrest and fell into a coma.
He's been in a critically ill state for the last 7 months and has not regained consciousness. Although his prognosis is grave and the likelihood of him every coming out of this state is bleak, my dad is still fighting for his life everyday.
We need your help. Larry currently requires long-term acute care by trusted physicians. His monthly medical costs amounts to $60,000 / month or $2,000 / day. Health insurance hardly covers his hospital and medical care. So, we're currently raising funds to pay for his medical expenses.
