To our Lark Family,
As you know, due to the coronavirus, our hotels and restaurants have been closed since March 18th. While it was an incredibly difficult decision to close–as it is in our nature, as hosts, to always want to welcome you–we felt like it was simply the right thing to do. It’s clear to us that staying at home–us and you–is the shortest path to beating this thing. Since our closure, the majority of the states that we operate in have mandated closures.
While we firmly believe that we are doing the right thing for the public health, it means that we have temporarily parted ways with over 150 members of the loyal team that is dedicated to creating Lark experiences for you. There is continued uncertainty, and many of you have asked us about the team specifically, what we were doing for them, and how you could help.
So, here’s the ask.
We’ve set up a Lark Hotel Employee Relief Fund. 100% of the donations to this fund will be divided evenly between each of our out-of-work employees. Close your eyes and picture your last stay or any of your stays at our hotels or meals at our restaurants. Is there a person that made that experience better for you? Would you like to show them that you are thinking about them, like they were thinking of you during your last stay or meal? Any donation is meaningful and will make a difference In the lives of our people, the people that provide care and experiences for all of you.
We know that this is a difficult time for everyone and we appreciate your consideration. We’re all hoping to see you all very very soon. In the meantime, please stay safe.

Everyone who donates $25 or more will be entered into a raffle to win a one week vacation at our cottage in Kennebunk, ME. This professionally designed coastal cottage is walking distance to Kennebunkport's Dock Square and under a mile to the beach. The cottage sleeps 6, with two bathrooms, an outdoor shower and a fire-pit.
