Larios Hernandez Family Car Accident

On February 10th, my mother Blanca, and her 16-year-old son Renber, were involved in a severe car accident while on their way to Renber's school, leaving them both in critical condition. They have undergone numerous surgeries and are slowly making progress towards recovery, but they still have a long road ahead.

As a single mother, Blanca needs help covering medical expenses, physical therapy costs, and living expenses for her and her children, Renber (16), William (17), and Arely (14). Blanca current status:

Blanca is showing significant medical progress in her condition. She was in a sedated coma for 14 days. When she was admitted to the trauma ICU, she had only a 5% chance of survival and was completely dependent on a ventilator. The accident caused her to break 16 out of her 24 ribs, puncture her lungs and sternum, and sustain permanent brain damage. The medical team is continuing to closely monitor her progress and adjust her treatment plan as necessary. Her resilience and determination to make a recovery are a source of great pride for us.

Renber current status:

Upon admission to the trauma ICU, he underwent an immediate complex surgery to address his aorta artery, which required a mesh and repositioning. Additionally, he had significant facial and hand injuries that necessitated plastic surgery, as well as a broken ankle and shifted pelvic bone. Despite these challenges, Renber has made significant improvements and has been discharged from the hospital. His progress is a positive sign for his overall health and well-being, and we couldn't be prouder of his resilience and determination at such a young age.
