Larhonda C. Lawrence

On December 20, 2022, my Mother Larhonda Lawrence at the tender age of 42 was brutally shot at her residence in Philadelphia and listed in extremely critical condition. Larhonda sits in the ICU while her remaining 2 children await, as in myself Lamia (22) and my younger sister Jai’Leah (8).

We know exactly who her attacker is. It is our own flesh and blood, her only son, my only brother. We still don’t know the reason as to why or what led him to do it.

Today, Dec 22 is my baby sister’s 8th birthday and he was arrested today as well! we still haven’t broken the news to her or even know how or if we will. My mom wanted to host a skate party for my baby sister but we are here today.

We are 3 days away from Christmas and we’re praying for a Miracle.

Even though the Neurologist said the bullet hit a main artery and there’s no surgery they can perform because of the swelling, one side of her brain still has activity! I was saying to her, “Mom if you can hear me, move your leg” and that’s exactly what she did. My grandmother said “Baby if you can feel me (because she was holding her hand) pull my hand closer to you” AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID.

There’s still life for my mother Larhonda! and i’m not gone allow the doctors to tell me otherwise.

She’s currently at Presbyterian, we tried to get her transferred to temple, but after the neurologist stepped out the room for an hour, he came back telling us temple denied her saying there’s nothing they can do as well.

Unfortunately my mom she did not have life insurance and leaves us to try to gather money for whatever outcome, whether it’s the healing process or the funeral services.
