Hi we're Team Malawi 26!

In June 2026, as part of the Scotland Malawi Partnership, our team of eleven S5 pupils will be travelling to our partner school - Mzambazi Secondary School in Malawi.

On this trip we will visit the school, taking part in lessons and learning about the school curriculum and structure in Malawi. We are excited to immerse ourselves in this new culture and take part in extracurricular groups and activities.

While we are out there, we will also spend a day at the Primary School and Early Years Centre and visit the maternity ward at the nearby hospital.

This trip is an amazing opportunity to make new relationships and friends while learning about a different culture. We hope to strengthen the connection and bond between our two schools and make unforgettable memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.

Over the next year, the eleven of us will be counting our steps everyday in a hope to raise money for our adventure. Starting June 1st we, as a team, will be aiming to walk the distance to Malawi and back, an exciting challenge that will improve our teamwork and test our determination.
