Large Marges Needs Help After Theft

Donation protected
Large Marge’s Philly Cheesesteaks, a restaurant of Wheat Ridge, Colorado humbly asks for your financial assistance after the theft of the restaurant van and trailer.  The unit carried grills, tents, tables, generators, propane tanks and accessories to off-site events.  Thieves stole the locked vehicle/trailer from the building front parking lot on Monday, April 27th between the hours of 5-6 a.m.  Surveillance cameras recorded the burglary. Wheat Ridge police are investigating.  But with the current pandemic already presenting ongoing challenges, this additional criminal activity has deepened financial hardship for Marge’s.  Off-site events generate substantial income for the business so not only was there lost revenue, all of the equipment was then stolen.

GoFundMe dollars will be used toward replacement of the van, trailer (insurance denied) and equipment denied insurance coverage or exceeding replacement value.  With your help, Large Marge’s will be ready when off-site social activities and gatherings resume.  Any excess funds will be applied toward employee payroll deficit from the current pandemic.

Large Marge’s Philly Cheesesteaks is a family-owned restaurant in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  Relatives, friends, employees, ‘regulars’, and first-time guests are all family.  Owner Tyler Johnson takes pride in the family atmosphere and generous menu featuring authentic philly cheesesteaks served on Amorosa rolls, and sides.  Large Marge’s serves its patrons not only in the restaurant but also at various Colorado festivals, city activities, events, and annually at the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota. Professional sports teams ‘order in’ when traveling to Denver.  Patrons new and old generously support and embrace LM, and the business is honored to give back to the community supporting Wheat Ridge High School activities, law enforcement and first responders, military and community activities.

It is difficult to ask for help when so many are in need.  For any size donation, a heartfelt thank you!  If you cannot donate, ordering take-out or purchasing a gift-certificate is also very much appreciated.  Sharing this information is supportive.
