Large family covid nightmare!!

I am making this go fund me for a very dear and longtime friend of mine. This precious Christian woman is the head of a very large family. She and her hard working husband have opened their lives and home to 13 children by adoption, and have one beautiful biological daughter, who in turn, have blessed them with their first grandchild, a son.

This selfless woman has been the sheer epitome of a proverbs 31 woman.
She has helped her many children, most of whom all have very special needs, and/or severe developmental disabilities, absolutely thrive in her care. Her home is a home of love and dedication to the Lord. She also helps her own elderly Mom receive the medical care she needs to fight off throat cancer. Her husband is a paramedic and works very hard to support his incredible family.

My dear friend fell ill last week and tested positive for covid despite being super cautious and careful to avoid contracting it and possibly spreading to her family. Her oldest daughter is also feeling symptoms and is waiting on test results. Her place of employment is requiring a quarantine based on being exposed, so she can not even help her father with the children in the home. He, of course, is now unable to work because she is in the ICU on a ventilator.

There is a meal train set up, but it’s almost Christmas, and there are also much bigger needs in supporting this amazing family.  Of course, there are bills to pay, groceries to buy, medical needs and bills to address, and also Christmas.
I wasn’t asked to start this, but my heart wouldn’t let me not at least try.

Jennifer has been a close friend for at least thelast decade. I have watched her family grow in love, through many triumphs and tribulations. They have always overcome. My prayer is that the Lord will see them through this, as well, as Jenna is the backbone to keeping everyone and everything together. We need prayers aboveall else because she MUST pull through this.

Remember, please, that there are a few adult children still living at home due to their disabilities. My precious friend Jennifer has been their main caretaker for most of their lives. She currently also has 2 toddlers that have special needs as well. 

If maybe there are any local people to them in Lancaster, Pa, that may also be able to help this family in ways of grocery store gift cards, meals, or maybe even presents, or clothes,  for the kids, it would be super appreciated by all of us.
