My name is LaRay Hayes, I am 29 years old and resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I was recently hit with some devastating news of being diagnosed with Stage 3A Lung Cancer. NUT midline carcinoma ...A couple of months ago, I developed a nagging cough that would not go away and after seeking medical attention, cancer was the result. Being that I am not a smoker, it was very difficult to accept this frightening diagnosis.Up until now, I had a job. However, due to it being a contracted position, I am no longer employed, nor do I have insurance to help me in the fight against this terrible, aggressive disease called “cancer.” For those who know me and my family, it is most difficult for me to ask for assistance. I started the GFM simply because I need your help, both financially and prayerfully. Funds will be used for medical purposes only.I am currently receiving treatment (chemotherapy and radiation) every day at the Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. While this is a great start in my quest to become disease-free, I am in need of financial assistance in order to keep it going and win this fight against cancer.
