Hello, it's me.

I'm back at it again. Pounding the pavements and racking up the miles in preparation for running the Brighton Half Marathon 2026. I'm also back telling anyone who'll listen that I went for a run, I'm going for a run, or I really should be running.

Aaaannd, I'm back at this again. Asking you to hand over your hard earned cash in return for me running a distance that no-one asked me to and that no-one really wants to hear about.

BUT please don't tune out. This is really important!

I have signed up to run the Brighton Half Marathon on 01 March 2026 and once again, I will be fundraising on behalf of Yateley Industries for the Disabled and aiming to raise £100 per mile.

Yateley Industries is a charity close to my heart. It's where my brother Oliver worked for many years before his recent move to Brighton. It does incredible things and provides much needed services to support adults with disabilities to create pathways to independence and fulfilment through supportive housing, purposeful work, and opportunities to learn and grow.

I know that timing-wise post Christmas, during an ongoing cost of living crisis isn't the ideal time to ask for donations. There is no expectation for huge sums to be donated but perhaps you could consider donating the price of a pint (which is actually quite considerable these days) or even just £1. Genuinely every penny counts and every penny helps to motivate me to get out and complete those every increasing training runs.

I cannot stress enough how much any donation would be appreciated by me and also by the awesome team at Yateley Industries.
