Six and a half years ago I jumped into a whole new life. A tiny accident has spun my world out of control to the degree that I am now going to be getting epilepsy brain surgery within the upcoming months. This was not my plan. But it was God's plan.
In Martinique, a tiny island in the Greater Antilles, last January 2020, God spoke to me. In the midst of a French Catholic Mass, I heard him quite clearly tell me that I will be cured of my epilepsy but it would be a long hard road. I heard this clearly and distinctly and I truly have faith that this will be coming into fruition very soon. It has been a long hard road.
We are finally jumping on the highway! I've been asked by so so many friends, family, and coworkers how you can help... Here's my reply. An anonymous donor is matched the first $2000! I'm so blessed. Medical technology is amazing and I'm thrilled to benefit! Let's do this! ... And thank you ❤️
FACT! Only 1 of 1000 people who are eligible for this type of surgery actually follow through on it... Cause it's scary. But I have so much faith. It will be awesome.
FACT! After trying 2 or more anticonvulsants and still experiencing seizures, a patient is potentially eligible for epilepsy surgery. I have tried 7 anticonvulsants, sometimes up to 4 at the same time, and I'm over it.
FACT! I could have up to an 80% reduction in sz after the final procedure. Probably will always have to stay on some adjunct anti-seizure meds, but that's pretty awesome.
Please join my journey!!!
I have been donating my art to the 1:26 Art of Epilepsy program out of Newport Beach over these past 6 years, And I would now ask that if possible you would donate to me for medical expenses, also, I will only have a short amount of FMLA before I am greatly reduced to my short-term disability which is only a percentage of my regular pay. I have full faith that this surgery will get me back on track but until then I need your support!
Prayers, good karma and ice cream accepted!
