Laps Under the Lights is a fundraiser for the Lansing Track & Field teams. This FOURTH ANNUAL event will NOW TAKE PLACE VIRTUALLY. Sadly, this means, we won't be able to include the entire community -- but our whole team will be on a Zoom call together on our Lap(top)s under our (home)Lights. Our team doesn't stop being a team just because we can't practice and compete together.
Thank you for your generous support! We are working hard to keep the team united and connected, and your gifts make it possible for the team to purchase apparel, training equipment, travel meals, replacement shoes and spikes, and more -- including little incentives to keep us going during social distancing. We work hard to create fundraising opportunities that allow our athletes to feel ownership in their team and also give back to the community. To that end, our athletes have decided to make a generous donation to local food banks and programs this year in place of their team t-shirt order.
