Those who have had the privilege of meeting Amy, know her by her smile, her work ethic, her gentle and compassionate spirit, and her love for God and for life. With an Education major and minors in TESOL and Sustainable Development, along with her job as a registrar, Amy has had quite the presence on TFC's campus.
This past June, Amy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma, a diagnosis that came out of left field. In the past few months, medical bills have quickly piled up with surgeries, chemotherapy, ICU and her stay at Gainesville hospital. Although, medical insurance will hopefully pay for the majority of the bills, the final out-of-pocket cost is still unknown.
We are excited for our 5k fundraiser on Saturday, October 3rd, located on campus! Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to make this in-person event available to the general public, but would still love the support of the community! If you are looking to get involved with our fundraiser, please read the attached flyer and feel free to contact me via email with any questions or concerns.
We are asking participants to donate a minimum of $15 to support.
