Lapota Ohana Lost Everything in Lahaina Fire

Hi, my name is Moli Savelio and I am starting this fundraiser to help my uncle Taniela Lapota and his family to rebuild their lives after losing everything on this horrific day on August 8, 2023. They've lost everything, home, vehicles, clothes etc in the Lahaina fire. Uncle Taniela and his family have lived in Lahaina for decades and barely escaped the fire and smoke that almost took their lives. They're safe and sheltering in Paia, but he and his family as well as their community have lost everything and will need to rebuild their lives from scratch. We can't imagine what my uncle and the whole community are going through right now, but we hope these donations will be able to help them. The funds donated will go straight to Uncle Taniela's account. Any donations are appreciated.

The funds will help the Lapota ohana with:

Temporary housing/shelter

Food and water

Clothing/Shoes for him, his wife, his sisters and their children

Toiletries/hygiene

Costs to replace official documents, birth certificates, passports, ID's, etc

Anything else they might need to start back up again.
