LaPorte Gets Moving to Feed America - COVID-19

Please consider joining LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors in making a difference by raising money to support Feeding America.  Our fundraising campaign lasts until June 1, 2020.  Together, we can help provide meals for the record numbers of unemployed who have never had to ask for help in the past.

Our event, Get Moving to Feed America was held on Friday, May 15th. Our employees and friends walked away from their computers to get some exercise in fun and creative ways while quarantining at home with family and pets. 
All funds raised will go to Feeding America.  This national organization benefits food banks across the country, including Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana (which also supports the Northshore Food Bank), the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, and the Houston Food Bank. 

More information about Feeding America: Feeding America is the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization with 200 food banks across the United States. With school closures, job disruptions and health risks due to the coronavirus, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. Every day, there are already millions of children and adults who do not get the meals they need. We work to get nourishing food - from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers - to our neighbors.
