LAPD PADDLING PIGS-WPFG 2017

This year The City of Los Angeles is hosting the World Police and Fire Games from August 7th through August 16th. Over 10,000 dedicated and strong Police and Fire Department representatives from over 70 countries come together in one city to compete in over 60 sporting games.

Select officers from LAPD’s Northeast Division will be competing in the Dragon Boat Races on Friday August 11th and Saturday the 12th at Santa Fe Dam.  This is a new event that LAPD Officers will be competing in.  Being that this event is new to LAPD, many of the team members lack the proper equipment needed to compete and achieve success.  Therefore, this team known as “The Paddling Pigs” is respectfully asking for your financial support to help pay for the cost of paddles, uniforms and the equipment needed to compete.

We would love for you to join The Paddling Pigs and participate in the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Athletes held on August 7th at the historic Los Angeles Coliseum.  Be amongst some of the most dedicated, strongest and bravest first responders in the World!

Please feel free to forward this to friends and family, we need all the support we can get!
